DAVID VAN EYSSEN BIO

David Van Eyssen is a British painter and installation artist who moved to LA where he became a writer, director, and producer of interactive advertising and streaming entertainment, which he is widely recognized for helping to pioneer. Recovering from several years of life-threatening illness in 2018, he turned to technology to explore time, memory, and impermanence in video and virtual works, and has been exhibiting in the US and UK, with the support of collectors and corporate sponsors including LG, Panasonic, Getty Images and Varjo. His recent VR piece, The Private Life of Public Transport, was also sponsored by the Royal National Institute For Blind People. His work appears in the forthcoming book on artists working with reflections, Mirror: Mirror, published by Thames and Hudson.
