To pair your Apple TV, ArtPlay requires a paid subscription and the App Number, showing at the lower right corner of your screen.
To use ArtPlay, Collector members must obtain an Apple TV device.
Pair ArtPlay app on Apple TV
For new users, please go to the Register Form to enter the App Number and pay for the subscription at the same time.
For existing users, please scan the QR code on the screen or go to Pair My Device form. Enter your name, the email that is used for registration, and the 6 digit app number showing at the lower right corner of your screen, under the QR code.
Ensure a successful download
If you have paid for the subscription, once the App Number is submitted, your device will be activated shortly and the content will download automatically. Please keep your Apple TV on the ArtPlay app to allow a successful download of the content. The following tips will help you to stay on the ArtPlay app:
Set Screensaver as Start As Never: Settings—> General—> Screensaver—> Start After—> Never
Set Sleep After Never: Settings—> General—> Sleep After—> Never
Keep your Apple TV connected to the Internet: Settings—> Network
Stay on ArtPlay app
You can switch the monitor to TV or other HDMI channels, but please do not turn off your monitor or unplug the HDMI cable connected to your Apple TV. Your device will be activated shortly.
For any additional device that you would like to add to your account, please sign up for a new subscription.
